Hey everyone, if you want to get into a supervisory position in the banking industry, would it be possible to substitute experience with education? For example I know most postings require something like 3 or more years of leadership experience and a bachelor’s degree. I know in federal government jobs if you have a higher degree than required, you can subtitle that education for the experience. Can this apply to banking career as well? If someone with a master’s degree in economics/finance were interested but doesn’t have too much supervisory experience (not none, but does not meet the 3 year requirement) is there a chance they will be considered? Anyone has any experience/went through something similar like this before? Thanks a lot!
