[Discussion] Need help with basic banking face-to-face banking

January 02, 2021 at 10:14PM

Hello, I have always used online banking and money transfer platforms, the only time I have been to a bank was for opening my account and for a loan. Now I recently lost my debit card, and after I reported it lost some of my payment options are not working, naturally. But I have to transfer rent ASAP, and my card is not here yet. How do I do this in-person ? Do I use checks ? Do I have to go-to his bank or my bank to deposit the check ? Asking these questions in google just shows me online options, which is NOT helpful to me right now.

NOTE: The person who has the account has a different bank than mine, and there is a $30 wiring fees which I would like to avoid if possible.

I know this might sound juvenile but I would really appreciate the help.
