Thryv Holdings, Inc., which offers Thryv software that is designed for expanding small companies, has rolled out a ThryvPay app that was created particularly with service-based companies in mind, according to a Thursday (May 13) announcement.
“ThryvPay has been the fastest-growing payments choice within our platform. Now, for the first time, we’re making ThryvPay available as a standalone app free of charge for non-Thryv customers,” said Thryv CEO and President Joe Walsh. Users can download the app for free on Android and iOS devices, per the announcement.
With the app, companies have the ability to accept every major credit card in addition to automated clearing house (ACH) payments. According to Thryv, the ACH option is optimal for large invoices, as there is a maximum fee of $9 for each transaction.
Moreover, ThryvPay offers a non-required connection to Plaid that alerts small business owners when funds are available for ACH payments. In addition, companies can take tips and charge clients automated convenience fees through the app to defray credit card fees.
Thryv’s VP of Product and Marketing Ryan Cantor said in the announcement that service-based small businesses have particular requirements in terms of accepting payments. The company’s programmers tailored the ThryvPay app to capabilities like “managing paid services, accepting lower-cost ACH payments, scheduling recurring payments and so much more.”
As previously reported, Thryv launched its ThryvPay payment processing offering late last year. Also, the company recently teamed up with Lendio.
Thryv’s platform offers up-to-date business functions that enable SMBs to reach additional clients, remain organized, obtain quicker payments and generate reviews. Those functions include handling payments, setting up online appointments, digitizing marketing via email and text, and developing a digital client database, among other features.
Thryv provides business services to over 400,000 SMBs worldwide, according to the announcement.
