USD/CAD chops sideways in the countdown to the Bank of Canada decision September 05, 2018 at 02:00PM

The BOC decision is at 10 am ET (1400 GMT)
The Bank of Canada is entirely likely to leave rates unchanged at 1.50% when the decision is released at 10 am ET. The market flirted with the idea of a hike but NAFTA troubles and Poloz’s Jackson Hole speech indicated to rush to boost rates.

GPPUSD rebounds after fall below trend line fails September 05, 2018 at 01:57PM

Lower on the day
Brexit remains a concern and that led to a fall in the GBPUSD despite some better today.   The price fall took the pair below a lower trend line at 1.2802 but the fall below failed.  The price is correcting higher now (trading at 1.2835 as I type).
